M. Velma Glander, 99

Born in Grantsburg, WI, on Nov. 21, 1912, She lived most of her years in St. Louis Park primarily as a home maker, but also worked for McGlynn Bakeries in a variety of capacities. She loved baking, cooking, gardening, activities at her church, St. Luke's Lutheran, and days spent at the family cabin in WI. Most of all she loved her family. Those who knew her valued her kind-hearted, gracious spirit and sense of style. The warmth of her laughter will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by husband, George; grandson, Gregory Lampe; son-in-law, Michael Lampe; siblings, Grant Patterson and Merle Powell.

Survived by daughters, Susan Dixon (Carl) and Mary Schiesel (Robert); grandchildren Troy Sizer and Joel Lampe; great-grandson, Samuel Sizer; other relatives and friends.

Her funeral was held on Monday.
