Edina Teacher Tops SLP's Goddard for Teacher of the Year
Greg Goddard of St. Louis Park High School was one of 10 finalists.

Jackie Roehl, a 10th-grade English teacher at Edina High School, topped Greg Goddard and eight other finalists for the Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award on Sunday.
There were 111 candidates overall in this the 48th year of the award program, which is sponsored by the state teachers union, Education Minnesota.
Goddard, an AP psychology and social studies teacher, was nominated by LeeAnn Stephens, who currently works with Goddard at the high school but won the Teacher of the Year award in 2006 while working at .
