Jewish Film Festival Opens Tonight
St. Louis Park's ShowPlace ICON Theater will be the venue.

Fourteen films. 15 days. Nine countries.
That's the tagline with this year's Minneapolis Jewish Film Festival, and it's fitting for a packed event that kicks off tonight at the with a screening of the film "Dorfman."
Writer/producer Wendy Klout will be on hand for a 6 p.m. reception, as will composer David Reynolds, who was born and raised in St. Louis Park.

"Dorfman" follows the life of Deb Dorfman, a single, mousey and plain gal who ditches suburbia for the whirlwind that is downtown Los Angeles—all in an effort to track down the man of her dreams. The film was recently named the "Best Feature" at both the Hollywood Film Festival and the Miami Jewish Film Festival.
