Meet St. Louis Park Patch's New Editor
St. Louis Park Patch's new editor, Zac Farber, has been with Patch for two years and has lived on the St. Louis Park border since October.

Hello, St. Louis Park Patch readers! I'm Zac, the new local editor of St. Louis Park Patch.
I’ve been living just on the Minneapolis side of France Avenue, on Lake Street, since the fall—biking along Cedar Lake Trail, driving down Excelsior Blvd for groceries and dinners out, and losing softball games in Aquila Park.
I’ve been working with Patch in the Twin Cities for about two years, mostly in the south metro, Roseville and Fridley. My time at Patch has been a whirlwind, learning to navigate new communities every few months or weeks and bouncing daily between different stories and towns. While exhilarating, I’m excited to step on the brakes and dedicate my attentions to the businesses, people, schools, diversions and civic challenges of St. Louis Park.

I’m originally from Olympia, Washington, but almost seven years ago I came to the Twin Cities to attend Macalester College. I’d never been to the Midwest before and soon I fell in love with the relaxed pace of life, the uncluttered urban environment and the absence of rain in the sky.
I look forward to meeting Patch readers, so if you see me staring into my computer at a local meeting, picking up a book at the St. Louis Park Library, or scarfing down a tuna melt at Yum Kitchen, please stop and say hello!

In addition to handling St. Louis Park Patch, I'm also taking on the editorship of Edina Patch. If you have questions, concerns, or ideas for articles for either city, I’d love to hear them. Send me an email at zac.farber@patch.com.
