(PHOTOS) Singing, Drumming and Building on National Night Out
Plenty of fun was had in the Meadowbrook Neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
What a way to kick off Meadowbrook Collaborative Awareness Month.
A big National Night Out party was held in the Meadowbrook Neighborhood on Tuesday evening. Young and old came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather—as well as hot dogs, Popsicles, music and more.
The music was first provided by Stanley Kipper and Chico Perez, who led a community drumming circle. The two have throughout the summer.

Later, young singers from the Meadowbrook Neighborhood sang "Amazing Grace" and Beyonce's "Halo."
Additionally, provided supplies for youngsters to build wood crafts, and St. Louis Park Parks and Recreation hosted a number of fun games. And of course, police officers and firefighters were on hand to chat with residents. The big fire truck was naturally a big hit with the youngsters.
