More than 100 young ice skaters showcased skills learned the last few months in a fun, holiday show on Sunday called “Skating Over the Rainbow.”
The youngsters were all participants in St. Louis Park skating classes held this fall and winter, and they got to put their hard work into 48 different choreographed numbers in front of friends and family at the . All of the performances were set to music and involved a color in the title.
Registration for the next session of skating lessons at the Rec Center is open now, and classes begin Jan. 7. Head to the city's website for more information. Kids who sign up will get to participate in the spring showcase, "Hollywood on Ice," on March 18.
