Polls Open Today in SLP for Primary Election

Three City Council candidates will get whittled down to two.

It's not fall yet, but the 2011 St. Louis Park election season is underway today.

A primary to whittle the pool in the City Council's “at-large B” race from three down to two is being held. Polls will be open across the city from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find out where your polling place is, enter your address into the city's myNeighborhood search tool.

The two top vote-getters on Tuesday will advance to the general election on Nov. 8. Also on the ballot for the general election will be the mayor's seat and the council's "at-large A" seat, neither of which are having primaries.
