Keaton Studsrud, BSM football, junior QB

Studsrud was 8 for 11 passing for 104 yards in the Red Knights' 49-42 win over Cooper in last week's opener, but the junior did most of his damage on the ground. He ran 19 times for 178 yards and three TDs to pace BSM.

Dana Buckhorn, BSM girls soccer, senior forward

The defending state runners-up are off to a 4-0-1 start, and Buckhorn is a big reason why, as she already has seven goals. She scored three of them this week to lead BSM to two wins.

Trenton Stafford, SLP football, freshman CB

In last Friday's , Stafford came up big by batting down Cloquet's last pass of the game to preserve the victory.
