Resident Sells All 150 'Thank You SLP Police Department' Lawn Signs, Orders More

A St. Louis Park woman is placing a second order for lawn signs expressing gratitude for local police.

Between brownie deliveries and unexpected, supportive visitors, St. Louis Park police officers have been feeling the love from the community.

But one resident took her gratitude a step further last week. Jodi Johnston and her husband had 150 signs made expressing appreciation for law enforcement officials. They sold out in less than three days, according to a Kare 11 News report.

Complete with an exclamation point dotted with a heart, the blue-and-white signs are now proudly peppered on lawns throughout St. Louis Park, declaring, "Thank you, SLP Police Department!"

"Officers are seeing these signs all around the city today," said a Friday post on the department's Facebook page. "This is another reason we're honored to serve and protect the community of St. Louis Park every day. Thanks so much!"

Johnston has placed an order for more signs. Residents can snag their own sign for $5, which covers production costs, reported The Star Tribune. Any leftover cash will be donated to the St. Louis Park Police Department.
