Update (March 20, 8 a.m.): Xcel Energy reports that power has been fully restored to the St. Louis Park area. March 19, 9:30 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm whipped through the Twin Cities on Monday night, knocking out power to a number of homes. Xcel Energy reports that only a handful of the roughly 11,000 metro area outages (as reported at 9 p.m.) are in St. Louis Park.
