Send Patch Your Snow Pics
The metro area is looking at 1-2 feet of snow this weekend, and St. Louis Park Patch wants your help capturing it.
According to various weather forecasters (including WeatherNation guru Paul Douglas), the Twin Cities is looking at a foot or more of snow this weekend. Yikes.
Such a snowfall would be the most since Halloween 1991, when yours truly was a 4-year-old trick-or-treater with snow up to my ears. I need to find photos of that to post...
Speaking of posting photos, I encourage you (yes, YOU) to help St. Louis Park Patch tell the story of this weekend's (predicted) big snowfall. To the right, you'll see a few photos. Below them, there is a handy "add" button, which allows you (if you're a registered Patch user) to add photos to this story. If you're not a Patch user, you will be prompted to sign up, which is quick, painless and definitely worth your time (you can post content to this story and others, plus add events and announcements to St. Louis Park Patch).

So if you have a mountain of white fluffy stuff in your backyard or see a car completely buried or have cute snowman pictures, post them. It'll be great to see this storm through the perspective of many members of the community.
And if you can't get your photos uploaded, please e-mail me (michael.rose@patch.com) the shots and I'll make sure your photos get up and you get credited.

Lastly, you can be involved beyond simply posting pictures. If you want to alert folks about a snow-related happening, you can comment on this story (see below), post on St. Louis Park Patch's Facebook page or send us a Tweet on Twitter.
But whatever you do, stay safe and stay warm. And maybe consider investing in a snow blower.
