The man told police he "tends to walk around while on the phone."

A St. Louis Park resident was told by police to close his shades before walking around his apartment naked after a neighbor reported him for lewd behavior.
Around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 3 someone called police to report that a man was exposing himself to Excelsior Boulevard from an apartment building on the 3800 block of Grand Way.
The man told police he had just gotten out of the shower when he received a business phone call.

He said he walked around his apartment nude for several minutes because he “tends to walk around while on the phone,” according to the police report. He said he had just moved into the apartment in September and didn’t realize he was visible to passersby.
Police asked him to close the shades in the future before “conducting this type of behavior,” according to the report.
