ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — St. Louis Park became the latest city in Minnesota to pass a city-wide mask mandate to slow the spread of coronavirus. The St. Louis Park City Council approved the measure Tuesday night. The ordinance will go into effect July 27. <ul><li>It requires people to wear masks in the following settings: </li><li>restaurants and bars when not at a table</li><li>Public transportation,</li><li>Entertainment venues</li><li>Common spaces in apartment buildings</li><li>Public outdoor spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. </li></ul>The ordinance also requires businesses to post signs about face coverings. <a href="https://www.stlouispark.org/home/showdocument?id=18626" target="_blank" title="link to ordinance" rel="nofollow">Read the full ordinance here</a>.
