SLP Police Arrest Man with 14 Grams of Meth
Brian James Mulder is charged with felony drug sales and possession after he was stopped May 11 in St. Louis Park.

A man stopped by police in St. Louis Park after a controlled drug buy has been charged with two felony counts of methamphetamine sales and possession.
Brian James Mulder, 31, who has no permanent address, is charged with first-degree drug sales, which carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine, and second-degree drug possession, which has a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
Mulder remains in the Hennepin County Jail on a $75,000 bond. His next hearing is scheduled for May 17 in Hennepin County District Court.

According to the criminal complaint, police conducted controlled buys of methamphetamine from Mulder on May 11 using a confidential informant.
Police then obtained a search warrant for his car.

Police stopped Mulder’s car May 11 at Highway 100 South and Minnetonka Boulevard in St. Louis Park. When they searched the car, they found about 14 grams of methamphetamine in the center console, according to the complaint.
A standard dose of methamphetamine for illegal users ranges from 10 to 40 milligrams.
