St. Louis Park School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in St. Louis Park is September 5 for grades 1-12 and September 7 for kindergarten. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The St. Louis Park Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/18: Early Release for Students (Professional Development)
• 10/19 - 10/20: No School for Students (Education Minnesota Break)

November

• 11/3: No School for Students (Work Day / Grading Day)
• 11/22: No School for Students (Conference Comp Day)
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/1: No School for Students (District Professional Development)
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/8: School Resumes
• 1/15: No School (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/26: No School for Students (Work Day / Grading Day)

February

• 2/19: No School (Presidents’ Day)

March

• 3/16: Grades K-5 No School
• 3/23: No School for Students (Conference Comp / Grading Day)
• 3/26 - 3/29: No School (Spring Break)
• 3/30: No School for Students (Conference Comp Day)

May

• 5/18: Early Release for Students (Professional Development)
• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/8: Last Day of School
