Yard House, a restaurant chain that offers about 140 beers on tap, has signed a lease agreement with the Shops at West End.
It will be the first Minnesota location for the California-based chain. The restaurant puts beer front and center, pumping up to 5,000 gallons at a time from a glass-enclosed keg room through more than three miles of temperature-regulated tubes. that boasts an extensive beer selection customers can see through a clear keg room.

"St. Louis Park is an area with a rich history in beer and has a vibrant culinary scene, which is the perfect combination for our restaurant," spokesman Chris Potter said in a statement quoted by Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. "The Shops at West End offers us the perfect location to introduce Yard House to Minnesota."
The restaurant will open in the 10,500 square-foot space adjacent to Toby Keith's in early 2014.
