Survivor Celebration

Virginia Piper Cancer Institute® – Buffalo Hospital invites breast cancer patients and survivors of all ages to an open house celebration Thursday, October 24 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Buffalo Hospital, 303 Catlin Street in Buffalo.

“The Cancer Center staff members want to have a party to help bring hope and joy to people,” said Lorie Stemig, Patient Care Manager of Virginia Piper Cancer Institute - Buffalo Hospital.

Stemig says the open house is an opportunity for cancer survivors to connect with others for ongoing support and for current patients to learn about other community services.

The celebration will feature music, refreshments, a visit by Kathy Honey of Cancergirl, and techniques for healing and relaxation.  The event is free and reservations are not required.
