Allina Health Rally for Stage Four Breast Cancer Survivors

Allina Health invites people with stage four breast cancer, their loved ones and caregivers to Celebrating Ordinary, Saturday, Oct. 27, 7:30 a.m. to noon, at the University of Minnesota Continuing Education and Conference Center, 1890 Buford Ave., St. Paul, MN 55108.

Celebrating Ordinary is a free seminar presented by the cancer programsΒ of Allina Health and features nationally recognized authors Henry Emmons, MD, integrative psychiatrist, and Rachael Freed, LICSW, marriage and family therapist. The event is not limited to Allina Health patients; all people with advanced breast cancer are welcome.

Emmons, author of "The Chemistry of Joy and The Chemistry of Calm," will discuss restoring serenity, even joy, when life is difficult by blending neuroscience with ancient traditions. Freed, founder of Life-Legacies, will discuss the importance of identifying and celebrating legacies.
