Blotter: St. Michael Man Arrested in Monticello for Domestic Assault

A 20-year-old St. Michael man faces a charge of domestic assault after an incident in Monticello. More details are coming, but the charges on the man, after an arrest made by Wright County Sheriff's Department wer handed down Feb. 2 in Wright County's Tenth District Court.

Jan. 27

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a medical call around 3;45 p.m. in the 4000 block of Lange Avenue. An 85-year-old male was unresponsive. 

The department responded to a fire call at 9:49 p.m. in the 200 block of Heights Road. A furnace filter had burned in the unit and smoke was filling the residence. 

Jan. 28

St. Michael Rescue responded to a call of a 4-year-old vomiting severely at 3:23 p.m. in teh 4000 block of Kaeding Circle. 

Jan. 30

The department responded to a report of a vehicle fire at 4:08 p.m. at mile marker 204 near I-94 and Highway 241. 

Jan. 31

A 33-year-old Elk River man was arrested in Otsego on a Benton County warrant for domestic assault. 

St. Michael Fire and Rescue was called to a vehicle accident at 5:33 a.m. near the intersection of Birch Avenue and County Road 19. They were canceled by Wright County Deputies en route. 

The department responded to a rollver accident at the intersection of Highway 241 and Interstate 94 at 8:06 a.m. No one was seriously hurt. 

A medical call was placed at 4 p.m. from the 13000 block of 55th Street. St. Michael Fire and Resuce assisted a 47-year-old woman who was having chest pains. 

Feb. 1

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to an accident near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway 241. They were canceled en route. 

Feb. 2

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a medical call around noon at the intersection of Ibarra Avenue and 45th Street. A man (no age given) was having a seizure. 

Feb. 4

A 33-year-old Burnsville woman was arrested in St. Michael on a Hennepin County warrant for third-degree DWI. 

Feb. 5

A 26-year-old Albertville man was arrested in Albertville on the charge of second-degree DWI. 

Feb. 6

A 25-year-old St. Michael woman was arrested in Monticello on the charge of third-degree DWI. 

Wright County deputies also reported 22 property damage accidents, three personal injury accidents, two hit-and-run accidents and three car vs. deer accidents. There were nine total arrests for DWI, 13 underage consumption arrests and 148 tickets issued for miscellaneous traffic violations through Feb. 7.
