Business Spotlight: Artisan Salon & Spa in Albertville

For the last nine years, Artisan Salon & Spa has been a locally owned business in Albertville.

The business opened in 2004 by Jolene Forsberg to provide upscale beauty services and products to men, woman and children of St. Michael/Albertville and the surrounding communities.

In 2010, Artisan was sold to long-time manager and employee Jennifer Munson fulfilling her dream to own and operate a salon and spa. Munson continues to own the salon and spa today.

Artisan Salon & Spa received recognition from Aveda in 2011 as the “place to go” in the St. Michael/Albertville area and partnered to provide additional product options.

Today, the salon and spa continues to provide upscale hair, skin, nail and massage services and Aveda, Pureology and Redken products.

In addition to the full menu of hair care services, customized spa services such as massage and skincare treatments are offered.

“Artisan Salon & Spa wishes to revitalize spirits and enhance inner and outer well being, with skillful knowlege and top of the line products and technology,” Munson said.
