Car vs. Deer Crashes, Otsego Incidents Highlight Police and Fire Reports

St. Michael Fire, Albertville Fire and the Wright County Sheriff's Department reported the following calls:

October 10

Robert Daniel O'Leary, 33, Elk River, was arrested in Otsego on a Wright County warrant for 5th degree controlled substance violation.

Andrew Curtis Pollari, 22, Otsego, was arrested in Otsego for disorderly conduct.

October 13

Todd Charles Hesse, 30, of Otsego was arrested in Otsego for fleeing in a motor vehicle, obstructing with force, 4th degree assault and carrying a weapon without a permit.

October 15

Albertville Fire (AFD) responded to a medical emergency at 8:14 a.m. on the 10100 block of Karston Cove NE. A male party was having chest pains and difficulty breathing. AFD was cancelled en route by Wright County Deputy.

Darrin Michael Schreiner, 40, of Otsego was arrested in Otsego for domestic assault. 

October 16

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 11:17 a.m. on the 6400 block of LaBeaux Avenue. A male party was having a seizure.

The St. Michael Fire Department (SMFD) responded to a fire alarm call in the 1000^th block of Hansack Avenue NE.  They were cancelled en-route.

October 17

AFD responded to a commercial fire alarm at 11:10 a.m. on the 5300 block or Barthel Industrial Drive. The team investigated and cleared with nothing found.

SMFD responded to a fire call in the 900^th block of Central Avenue E.  There was a dryer on fire. 

AFD responded to a commercial fire alarm at 11:29 a.m. on the 6500 block of Jansen Avenue NE in Otsego. False alarm due to testing.

SMFD was dispatched to a grass fire call at the intersection of Heights Road NW and Naples Circle NW.  They were cancelled en-route.

October 18

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 12:12 a.m. on the 10100 block of Karston Avenue NE. A male party was having complications from recent surgery.

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 12:56 a.m. on the 7400 block of Lander Avenue NE in Otsego. A male party with high blood pressure.

SMFD responded to a fire call in the 4000^th block of Mazula Court NE.  There was a possible electrical fire.

October 19

SMFD responded to a fire call in the 3000^th block of Fenning Avenue NE.  There was a combine on fire.

The county also reported 14 property damage accidents, five personal injury accidents, five hit-and-run accidents and five car vs. deer accidents (the highest so far this year). There were also five arrests for DWI, five underage consumption arrests and 33 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
