Fire in St. Michael's Preserve Highlights Police, Fire Calls

Both St. Michael and Albertville departments fought the blaze, which hit the home on 45th Street Court hard. A second call was made when a hotspot flared.

The Wright County Sheriff and the and Albertville reported the following calls and arrests over the last week:

September 26

Chad Richard Kirchner, 34, St Michael, was arrested in Anoka county on a Wright County warrant for 3rd degree DWI

September 27

Jacob Charles Ekern, 24, Albertville, was charged with felony possession fifth degree controlled substance.

September 28

Shawn Robert Leibel, 29, Maple Grove, was arrested in St Michael for 3rd degree DWI.

September 29

Albertville Fire Department (AFD) responded to a commercial fire alarm at 9:09 AM on the 11000 block of 53rd Street. They were canceled by Wright County Sheriff due to false alarm.

AFD responded medical emergency at 9:55 PM on the 11000 block of 62nd Street NE.Β  A male party was unresponsive.

September 30

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 13000th block of 45th Court NE.

AFD responded to mutual aid for St. Michael for a structure fire at 5:02 AM on the 14500 block of 45th Court in St. Michael.

St. Michael Fire returned to the home on 45th Court to check a possible hotspot.

Joel Kenneth Olson, 60, Rogers, was arrested in St Michael on a Wright County warrant for issuance of worthless check.

October 2

Linda Marie Iverson, 40, St Michael, was cited in St Michael for misdomeanor domestic assault.

October 3

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 6:40 AM on the 6300 block of Manchester Avenue NE. A male party was having a seizure.

St. Michael Fire was dispatched to assist Allina with a medical call in the 10000th block of 57th Street NE.Β  They were cancelled en-route.Β 

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 6:46 AM on the 10900 block of 57th Street NE. Male party had fallen.

AFD responded to a commercial fire alarm at 7:33 AM 5900 block of Main Avenue NE. The department was cancelled by alarm company due to false alarm.

October 4

The department responded to a medical call in the 500th block of Central Avenue W.Β  A two year old was having difficulty breathingΒ 

October 5

The department responded to a medical call in the 2000th block of La Beaux Avenue NE.Β  There was a motorcycle accident involving a deer.

The department responded to a fire call on Ibarra Avenue south of County Road 34 NE.Β  The woods were on fire.

October 6

Albertville Fire Department was proud to participate in fire prevention. AFD members volunteered to teach fire safety at the Albertville Primary school.

The sheriff’s department reported eight property damage accidents, three personal injury accidents, three hit and run accidents and two car vs. deer accidents. There were five other arrests for DWI, three underage consumption arrests and 80 tickets issued for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
