Get Out: St. Michael, Albertville Getting into the Holiday Spirit

With Black Friday a week away, Christmas and all December holiday will be running at everyone with full force. 

Here are some events to get into the spirit, and a few ways to blow off some of that proverbial holiday steam.

• Holiday Open House–The consignment and novelty store will have cookies, cider and a host of in-store specials. There will be cookies, cider and free holiday gift wrapping on all purchases. Plus, Vault Denim will be in the store with samples, specials and much more information on their products. 

• The Craft Show–A traditional November favorite, the craft show arrives in time to find unique holiday gifts from local artisans, retailers and home-based businesses. The even run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the . 

• Head "Into the Woods"–cast of "Into the Woods," a very "twisted fairy tale," invites residents to two more showings of their fall musical. on stage, behind the scenes and in the orchestra pit. 

• Let's Play Hockey–, fresh off their first-ever State AA Hockey Tournament in 2011, host Class A State Champ Warroad at 1 p.m. Saturday morning. The Hawks are ranked No. 12 in Class AA. This should be an outstanding matchup. 

• Turkeys on the Board– will host a "Turkey Bingo" event at 3 p.m Sunday. Here's a great chance to pick up that holiday turkey for free, just by putting the numbers and letters together for a big Bingo win.
