Where/When: St. Michael Marketplace grocery store, which is just off Highway 241, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6.

Why Go: Meet and greet Patch Local Editor , get some free cake or cookies, win Patch β€œswag” and also talk with Sales Manager Gretchen Lowery. Other Patch staff will be on hand, so stock up before the Big Game and meet us!

Β 2. TIM MAHONEY AT NEIGHBORS SALOON

Where/When: Music starts around 9 p.m. Saturday, with drink specials and more.

Why Go: Mahoney is a longtime Twin Cities favorite, and this is his second trip to one of Albertville’s newest hot spots. If you haven’t seen since it opened, you should check it out. You won’t even recognize the place.

Pricing: No cover. Drink specials all night.

Β 3. THE JOEY BONGAART MEMORIAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT

Where/When: River Lanes of St. Michael, noon to midnight Saturday, Feb. 5, with sessions beginning throughout the day. Sessions for all ages, and moonlight bowling after 9 p.m. for adults. More info .

Why Go: Bowling, music, fun and food all for a great cause. And to remember a special young man who left us too soon.

Pricing: Depends on session, but starts at $25 and runs up. Part of proceeds benefit memorial scholarships, so it’s for a great cause.

Β 4. ST. MICHAEL LIONS ICE FISHING CONTEST

Where/When: BeBee Lake, just south of St. Michael.

Why Go: It’s the best time you can have walking on water. Oh, and you could win a hundred bucks catching fish. More here.

Pricing: 10 bucks for 17 and up. $5 for 16 and under.

Β 5. SENIOR CENTER SUPER BOWL PARTY

Where/When: From open to close Sunday, Feb. 6, at the new Crow River Senior Center in the St. Michael City Center. More on the new place here.

Why Go: The Center has a 60-inch, HD TV. That’s better than what you have in your living room, I’m guessing. Plus, food and refreshements will be on hand. And you can watch with your friends and cheer on STMA grad Matt Spaeth of the Steelers.

Pricing: Be a pal and bring some snacks. That’s it. Β
