Great Northern Bank Harvest Medallion Hunt Begins Aug. 3 in St. Michael

The 2013 Great Northern Bank Harvest Hunt Medallion search starts Saturday, Aug. 3 and ends at noon on Saturday, Aug. 10.

• Clue #1 - Great Northern Bank Harvest Medallion Hunt

The first person to find the medallion will be awarded $1,000 at the St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival at the Lamont Cranston concert on Saturday, Aug.10, according to a Great Northern Bank release.

The first clue will be posted on the Great Northern Bank website by noon Saturday, Aug. 3 where searchers can click on a link that will take you to the GNB Facebook page where daily clues and updates will be available. You are not required to have an active Facebook account to access the clues and updates, according to organizers.

Clues will also be posted on St. Michael Patch each day as well as at participating business in and around St. Michael. Visit to http://www.greatnorthernbank.com for a complete listing of participating businesses.

Rules and information

• The Harvest Hunt medallion is hidden on St. Michael city property which is accessible to the public and not at any residence. No disassembly or digging will be required to find the medallion, which includes light fixtures or park equipment.

• To claim the $1,000 prize, the hunter must contact the Harvest Hunt Director, Lynn Olson at 763‐497‐7777.

• Great Northern Bank employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Harvest Hunt.

• The prize money, clue preparation and contest administration are the responsibility of Great Northern Bank and its Harvest Hunt committee.

• Winners must be 18 years of age to claim the prize, but younger hunters may help search for the medallion if accompanied by an adult.

• The sponsors of the Harvest Hunt assume no responsibility for accident or injuries sustained by participants. Participants are urged to use reasonable safety precautions, demonstrate good sportsmanship and follow all rules set by the Harvest Hunt committee.

• A purchase will not improve your chance of winning the Harvest Hunt.

• Great Northern Bank reserves the right to discontinue the Harvest Hunt at any time.

• The medallion hunt $1,000 cash prize will be awarded at St. Michael Daze at the Lamont Cranston concert on Saturday, Aug. 10. In the event the hidden medallion is not found, the $1,000 prize will be donated to the Hanover Food Shelf.
