Holiday Happenings: Santa Claus is Coming to Town
You can share a slice of pizza or slap on some skates and join Santa this weekend, as the Jolly Old Elf makes a couple of appearances here.

Thursday, Dec. 8
β’ St. Michael-Albertville will have its holiday choir concert for grades five six, seven and eight at 6 p.m. (grades five and 6) and 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Middle School auditorium. Admission is free.
β’The boys' basketball team hosts Section 8-4A foe St. Cloud Tech. Tip is 7:15 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 10
β’ Lorie Line brings her musical talents back to the St. Michael-Albertville Performing Arts Center β located in the STMA High School β for a one-night-only performance. Show time is 7:30 p.m.

β’ Santa Claus is cominβ to town! Come and meet Santa at the St. Michae the new home of the American Legion, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be a collection for the Hanover Food Shelf and Caring for Kids, so bring Santa a toy on this one!
β’ Head over to Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers and purchase your favorite homemade treats by the pound. Listen to Christmas Carols,Β Β visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and even enjoy a treat while you shop. STMA Learn to SkateΒ is cohosting a Skate with Santa along with Community Ed, STMA Hockey Association and the STMA Ice Arena from12:30-2 p.m..Β The sign up sheet is attached to this story.Β
Families can register on-line through Community Ed at www.stmacommunityed.com or pay at the door.Β
Learn to Skate will have instructors on hand to give lessons every 15 minutes.Β Participants must bring their ownΒ skates.Β There is no skate rental at the Arena.Β
Through Dec. 17
Knights of Columbus Council 4174 (Albertville and St. Michael) will be selling Christmas trees at the. Regular hours are Weekdays 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bring three food donations and get $5 off your tree!

and friends are hosting their 2nd annual Albertville Fire Department and hometowne pizza fundraiser night.Β Order a pizza and 25 percent of the nightβs sales, along with all donations and tips, will beΒ given to the fire department.Β You might even have a firefighter show up at your door with a special delivery!. Last Andyβs donated over $1,100 to the guys.
