A mid-afternoon crash has brought westbound traffic to a standstill on Interstate 94 Friday afternoon.
One car was in the median just west of the Highway 101 exit, another was on the shoulder and blocking traffic as Friday's "cabin" traffic just started to pick up.
The slowdown coming out of the northwest suburbs had cars parked on the freeway between Rogers and the Maple Grove Parkway exits.
Eastbound traffic was creeping by between St. Michael's Highway 241 exit and Rogers as well.
