Kickoff Meeting: 2013 Crow River Innovation Fair
The meeting for students in fifth through eighth grade will be Aug. 13, 2013 at Albertville City Hall.
There will be a kickoff meeting 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Albertville City Hall for the Crow River Innovation Fair.
The fair, to be held Sept. 21 at the St. Michael City Center, is for fifth through eighth grade students in Buffalo, St. Michael, and surrounding areas.
"The purpose of this event is to inspire middle school kids to be creative and have them experience improving products and finding solutions to community issues through competition," according to organizers Karin Beck, Rachel Lenz and Molly Jungwirth. The trio is working on the project for their Girl Scout Silver Award.
