Measurable Snow Predicted for St. Michael Saturday
Get ready for a white weekend, the region's first since April. Measurable snowfall is expected for Saturday.
The National Weather Service isn't one to usually offer a "sure thing." But in this weekend's case, they're willing to make an exception.
The NWS in Chanhassen is expected about 2 inches of snow to fall on the St. Michael area as a storm front sweeps through Minnesota Saturday afternoon and evening.
The snow will stick, as high temperatures are expected to hit just 20 degrees or so, Sunday. However, warmer temps are expected for Thanksgiving week, and temperatures could be back up into the 40s, or above average, by Friday again.
