Obituary: Long Haul Driver Keith Allen Johnson Dies in Nebraska Crash
Keith Allen Johnson of Monticello died tragically Sept. 9 in Nebraska. He worked for the Albertville-based trucking company.

Keith Allen Johnson, 27, was welcomed into this world on March 9, 1985 and called home by his heavenly father on September 9, 2012. Keith amazed family and friends with his humor and his ability to light up a room whenever he entered. He was famous for his bear hugs, respect for women and children, and his playfulness. Keith was known as βKeeter βto his friends and βScooterβ to his family. He was also known by many as βGeneral Leeβ, βBaby Hueyβ, βBig Brotherβ, βLittle Brotherβ, βTeddy Bearβ and many more titles. His zest for life was evident in his job as an over the road truck driver, and when he returned home to be with family and friends. Those near him always felt love, care and empathy when he was around.
Keith Allen Johnson, age 27 of Monticello died in a motor vehicle accident which occurred in Nebraska on Sunday September 9, 2012. There will be a visitation on Thursday September 20, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello, followed by a prayer service at 8 p.m.. Funeral services will be Friday September 21, 2012 at 11 AM at Bridgeview Assembly of God Church, 20500 County Road 11, Big Lake. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery of Monticello. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
Keith will always be in the hearts of his family and will be remembered by his mother, Liz Johnson of Monticello; father Bryan Johnson of Menomonie, WI; brothers Josh (Stephanie) McClanahan of Maple Lake, Ron McClanahan of Becker, Cory McClanahan of Big Lake, Tyler McClanahan of Monticello; his surrogate family mother Teresa McClanahan; father Leo McClanahan; brothers and sisters Krista (Justin) Jackson of Annandale, Nathan (Stacy) McClanahan of Mora, Tommy (Leah) McClanahan of Starbuck, Randy (Suzie) McClanahan of Monticello, Tiffany (John) Frieler of Annandale; grandmother Margery McClanahan of Big Falls, MN; grandfather Gerald Johnson of Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, God children, and many friends.

Keith was preceded in death by Grandmother Susan Johnson; Grandfather Leo McClanahan; and nephew Kurt McClanahan. Keith will βKeep on Truckinββ in his new venture.
