 ● Β Pubhouse 19, formerly Major's Cafe (just west of Coborns), is still owned an operated by Chuck Huck and his crew, but has a few different features on the menu.Β

The sports bar and grill still features all those awesome televisions (17 of them to be exact) in high def, and Pubhouse willΒ be giving away prizes throughout the game, including t-shirts, jerseys, hats, and gift cards.

To eat, there will be $2 Sloppy Joe's. For drinks, how about a $2 bloody Mary? Domestic bottles, taps and rail drinks are also on special from 9 a.m. to close Sunday.Β

All week this weekend Pubhouse is offering food and drink specials to celebrate its grand opening. DJ Mitch is back, too, performing Β Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting at 9 pm.

● Β  The Official Spaeth Family Super Bowl Party is at Neighbors Saloon, which is located at the northeast corner of Main and 57th Street in Albertville.

The Spaeth family (members that did not go to Dallas, anyway) will be on hand to watch the game in full Steelers garb. Owner Joe Holtz said KARE 11 television will be out to talk to the family as they watch the game, too.Β

Specials will include a free taco bar at halftime, rail and tap specials and half-price appetizers, including Neighbors' delicious wings.Β

If the Steelers pull it off, expect a champagne toast to the family.Β

Packer fans are still welcome.Β

● Β Are you hungry? I mean, really hungry? Because Jimmy's Pizza has the biggest pie you've ever seen. And it takes a crew to devour it.Β

Check out the Big One, which is a huge pie with literally pounds of toppings and a plate the size of a small kitchen table. Devour it during the pregame show, and digest during the game.Β

You could get a free t-shirt if you conquer the beast.Β

● Are you a senior and looking for a place to watch the game? The Crow River Senior Center has chairs, a comfortable atmosphere, and - best of all - a 60-inch television to watch the game.Β

Even Ben Roethlisberger will look great on a 60-inch screen. Right?Β

The center is opening its doors to seniors who wish to watch the game with friends and have a good time. There will even be some refreshments on tap.Β

● Β Marketplace in St. Michael is a great place to stock up before the Big Game. There are huge specials going on with pop (soda?), chips, dips and even some key ingredients for appetizers.Β

Throwing together a pot of chili (invite me!)? You can get everything you need here.Β

Oh, and you can MEET PATCH! We'll be at the store from 11:30 to 2(ish) to shake hands, say hello and give you cake, cookies and coffee. Oh, and we'll have a few prizes to give away (pens, magnets, balloons ... $50 gift cards!), too.Β

It might make the game a bit of a letdown.
