Sentencings: Recent St. Michael Area Sentencings Handed Down

Robert Gregory, 28, St. Michael, sentenced on Dec. 29, 2011 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $400 fine; 362 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 3 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend a support group, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.

Joshua James Eastman, 28, Otsego, sentenced on Dec. 29, 2011 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 360 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 5 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, complete Level I driving program, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of alcohol, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, serve 10 sentence to service, have no same or similar violations. Chad Richard Kirchner, 34, St. Michael, sentenced Dec. 30, 2011 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 45 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Trent William MacDonald, 42, St. Michael, sentenced on Dec. 29, 2011 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 363 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, have no same or similar violations. Anthony David Nygren, 21, St. Michael, sentenced on Dec. 27, 2011 for Gross Misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 363 days, $2,600 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, complete 40 hours community service, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Michael Richard Stine, 20, Albertville, sentenced on Dec. 27, 2011 for Gross Misdemeanor Theft to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 355 days, $2,700 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, pay restitution, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete cognitive skill training and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
