Simonson Lumberyard Fire in St. Michael Dominates Recent Calls

Albertville Fire, St. Michael Fire and the Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls recently.

January 6

Albertville Fire (AFD) responded to a medical emergency at 8:51 p.m. on the 6500 block of Lindwood in Albertville for a male party that was having difficulty breathing.

January 7

The St. Michael Fire Department (SMFD) responded to a fire call in the 100^th block of Central Avenue East. The former Simonson’s Lumberyard on fire. Albertville Fire also responded for mutual aid.

January 8

The SMFD responded to a fire call at the Intersection of Highway 241 and Interstate 94 for a grass fire.  It was a recreational fire.

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 11:57 a.m. on the 14000 block of 62nd Street in Otsego for a male party with a hip issue.

January 9

Daniel Westley Meyer, 44, was arrested in Washington County on a Wright County warrant for fail to register as a predatory offender.

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 12:34 a.m. on the 11300 block of 54th Street in Albertville for a male party that was having difficulty breathing.

January 10

Jeremy Michael Gibbs, 38, of Hanover was arrested in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.

Andrew Curtis Pollari, 22, of Otsego was arrested in Monticello for give false name and date of birth of another; flee on foot and a Wright County warrant for 5th degree controlled substance violation.

January 11

Gray David Soltis, 21, of Hanover was arrested in Hanover on a Wright County warrant for domestic assault.

Bruce Thomas Fritz, 42, of Plymouth was arrested in St Michael for drive after cancellation inimical to public safety.

January 13

Zachary Lloyd Hayes, 19, of Grand Forks, ND was arrested in North Dakota on a Wright County warrant for 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.

Matthew Stanley Kopis, 23, of Minneapolis was arrested in Anoka County on a Wright County warrant for 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.

January 14

Jeffrey Michael Hanson, 53, of Hill City was arrested in Albertville on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.

Wright County deputies reported 18 property damage Accidents, one personal injury accident, six Hit-and-Run accidents and six car vs. deer Accidents.

There were nine arrests for DWI, one underage consumption arrest and 31 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
