St. Michael-Albertville Lacrosse Hosting Fall Clinic

A bit of instruction for future lacrosse stars, with a special guest.

The St. Michael-Albertville Lacrosse Club is hosting a fall clinic, set for Sunday, Sept. 18 and running each Sunday through Oct. 16.

This clinic is for boys (grades 3-12) and girls (grades 5-12), and sessions run between 2 and 6:30 p.m., with different sessions for new and experienced players. The sessions are held at the fields between the high school and , off of Jason Avenue in west St. Michael.

A note: The 2 to 4 p.m. session this Sunday is open to all, targeted for new boys while the open 4 to 6 p.m. session is open and aimed at new girls.

Just announced: Joe Cinosky (Minnesota Swarm standout and a former All-American for University of Maryland, head coach for University of Minnesota lacrosse and member of the 2010 USA World Championship team) will be the guest coach on for the boys’ sessions set for 2 to 4 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25. Players must be registered to attend. He will do autographs for the public and players from 4 to 4:30 p.m..
