St. Michael-Albertville Swim Team Races for Conference Championship
The girls' team can earn an unprecedented conference championship outright with a win today over Buffalo. The meet promises to have all the excitement of last week's upset over Monticello.
For the second straight Thursday, it all comes down to this.
The unbeaten girls' swim team dives in at 6 p.m. tonight at Buffalo High Schoool, and the winner will come up golden, winning the Mississippi 8 Conference title.
The Knights have already ensured themselves a share of that trophy, defeating Monticello last week in the meet of the year. But a loss drops the upstart STMA sqaud into a three-way tie (the Magic topped Buffalo).

"They know where we are. They're not satisfied with just a share," said coach Tom Guillou.
