St. Michael-Albertville Volleyball Takes on Osseo in Section Semifinal
After routing Centennial 3-0 for a Section 5-3A tournament win, the Knights take on the Orioles in Blaine tonight.
After blasting Centennial 25-19-25-21,25-18 for its first Section 5-3A quarterfinal win in two years, the No. 3 seeded St. Michael-Albertville Knights now take on Osseo in the semifinals, and a presumed shot at Blaine in the Section Championship.
The Bengals take on Totino-Grace, the No. 4 seed, in the other semifinal.
Led by seniors like Becky Hackenmueller, Candice Yager, Jennifer Olejar and Paige O'Connor, the Knights and Orioles have a couple of like opponents, despite the two having not met this season.

Both squads fell to Blaine in regular season play. The Orioles were able to take a set from the one of the state's top teams. St. Michael came close, but could not pull out a win.
Both squads dominated Andover, as well.

"Bring the costumes," said head coach Ryan Dehnel. "It should be a fun night."
