St. Michael City Council Approves Special Use Permit for Hair Salon
The one-year special permit allows for the new, one-stylist hair salon to be operated in a St. Michael home.

The owner of an appointment-only hair salon recently received approval from the St. Michael City Council to operate in home.
The St. Michael City Council approved a one-year, special use permit at the March 12 meeting for Timoree Zink of St. Michael to operate Ree-Design on the 13600 block of 44th Street NE. According to documents provided to the council, Zink will run the salon as the sole stylist, servicing one person at a time by appointment only.Β
The special use permit has several conditions, including:

- The initial special use permit was approved for one year.
- Parking will be provided in Zinkβs driveway. If on-street parking is required, an additional request will be made to St. Michael City Council.
- Adherence to all city, county, state and federal regulations.
- Copy of state licenses will be provided to the city prior to salon operation.
- Previous permit permission or renewal does not indicate basis for permit renewal.Β
