Twin Cities Live Remembers St. Michael Seventh-Grader
KSTP's afternoon program used the second half of its daily "Host Chat" segment to remember Tyler Purohit and his fight with brain cancer.
Tyler Purohit lost his nearly two-year battle with cancer last weekend, and a local television station used its "Host Chat" portion of the program to remember him.
The St. Michael boy took his fight, with his family, to Twin Cities Live earlier this year, and KSTP's regular daytime program used a segment to remember "T-Sizzle" and to promote Tyler's Helping Hand Fund, a program the Purohit family has set up in Tyler's honor.
