Volunteer: Adopt-a-Highway in Wright County
St. Michael, Albertville and area residents can choose a one time or two year commitment to help keep the roadways clean.

Are you looking for a way to give back to the community while being outdoors?
The Adopt-A-Highway Program has been around in Wright County for more than 20 years. Community members and organizations can βadoptβ a portion of the county highway to cleanup litter for the roadsides.
Here are some of the program details, according to the Wright County website.

- There are two types of programs: Adopt-A-Highway and Pick-A-Highway. The adopt program requires a two year commitment and agreement to clean up the designated roadway at least three times a year. The pick program is a one time only cleanup for a designated roadway.
- The Highway Department provides safety vests, trash bags and safety training materials.
