Welcome to the Neighborhood, St. Michael

You oughtta be in pictures.

Every Patch, including your beloved St. Michael Patch, now has an article called to which users (you) can upload photos and videos of their community.

Attended a wedding at St. Michael Catholic Church? Upload a photo. Grabbed some video of the sixth grade basketball team at West? Toss it on our site and share with neighbors and friends.

Patch realized that, while our users could upload photos related to specific stories to many articles on Patch, there was no existing place for you to upload photos from their community that aren’t related to an existing story or blog post.

Rather than asking a user to sign up as a blogger in order to share a photo, we can now ask you to upload photos to Your Neighborhood Gallery–a collection of photos from your neighbors about your neighborhood.

How does a user get to this page?

• Gallery tab on the main nav between Traffic & Gas and Holiday Guide links to Your Neighborhood Gallery.
• Big button on top of the right rail a la the Add an Event button on /events. This button will start the upload media experience and attach the media to Your Neighborhood Gallery.

With all of the holiday events going on, I can't imagine a better time to get started.
