City Of Jackson: JTRAN To Reduce Hours Of Operation/Switch To Saturday Schedule
Residents are advised to seek alternative means of transportation if needed or possible.

Jackson, Miss– The City of Jackson’s public transportation system, JTRAN, will reduce bus services beginning Monday due to a worker shortage.

This service reduction will allow JTRAN to maintain reliable service on fixed route and paratransit systems. Service will be restored as soon as worker availability improves.

JTRAN, beginning Monday, Jan. 17, will operate on a Saturday schedule from Monday through Saturday. The service will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for fixed routes and paratransit. The new schedule will be in effect until at least Feb. 12.
Residents who use JTRAN are advised to check “rider alert” notifications for updates on available bus routes.
