Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba is joining fellow mayors across the metro Jackson area to raise food items for the Mississippi food pantry Extra Table. Mayor Lumumba is asking residents to donate the food item he has been given – tuna – to several locations. Since Jackson is the largest city to participate in the food collection drive, the Mayor is optimistic residents will out give other cities.

The March of the Mayors food drive is now underway and will extend to Tuesday, March 22.
