Tv Road Well Repairs Are Underway In Jackson City

Work will continue over the next few days to install a new permanent pump and other parts for the well.

(JACKSON, Miss.) – Contractors for the City of Jackson Department of Public Works began repair work at the TV Road Well this afternoon. Work got underway a little later than initially anticipated today, but the crew is onsite and the temporary pump has been removed. Work will continue over the next few days to install a new permanent pump and other parts for the well. Once contractors are able to get a little further into the repair work, a more definitive timeline for completion will be shared.

Any residents experiencing disruptions in their water service should notify 311 or 610-960-1111. The Jackson Maddox Well System currently operates on six wells and serves approximately 16K well water connections primarily in South Jackson and the City of Byram. It is estimated that approximately 2,000 connections have been impacted by recent disruptions at the Siwell Road and TV Road wells.
