After 4 Calls: Vacant Taco Bell Cleaned Up
St. Louis Deli lasted just five months in the space. Would this spot be better off without the building?
After St. Louis County posted a "Public Nuisance" notice on the door of the again-vacant Taco Bell, next to Joe Boccardi's on Watson Road, on Aug. 14, a member of the Affton Community Involvement Association finally got results.
The woman made four calls about the high grass and weeds and they were finally cut.
A restaurant called St. Louis Deli opened in the space at the beginning of the year, but had already shuttered its doors by May. The building owner is from Fort Worth, TX, according to the county's notice.
