The Lindbergh High School basketball program will retire former player Gary Link’s jersey number on Tuesday, Jan. 17, in LHS Gym 3. The ceremony will be held between the junior varsity boys game, which starts at 5:30 p.m., and the varsity game, which starts at 7 p.m.
During Link's senior year, in 1970, Link was a member of the Flyers who went 31-1, which is the best record in Lindbergh basketball history. Link also holds the school record for points scored in a single season – 706. He also holds the school record for most free throws made, with 158.
