Money, gift cards, sunglasses and other items were taken from two unlocked vehicles parked in driveways in the 5100 block of Deville Avenue. Unlocked vehicles also were entered on the following streets:

She opened her front door to investigate, at which point two people got out of the truck and ran west on Garden toward Laclede Station Road.

Nothing had been taken from the truck.

Police identified other affected vehicles by canvassing the area and through contacts from residents, Lt. Brian Catlett said. They obtained some evidence during the investigation, and a laboratory will process it for additional clues.
