Welcome to Affton! Tell us about your new job. What will you be doing?

I will be teaching third graders at Gotsch Intermediate.

Where did you come from? What background are you bringing to our schools?

I was born and raised in St. Louis. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mizzou in 2010. The following year I taught first grade at an elementary school in Columbia, Missouri while completing my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mizzou.

What are you most looking forward to this school year?

I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know my students.

Tell us about your family. Who supports you?

I am recently engaged to my best friend. We met in school and are excited to begin our lives together!

What is the most embarrassing song on your ipod?

I don’t own an iPod (that’s pretty embarrassing!!)
