Police: Car Thief Displays Firearm

St. Louis County Police Affton Precinct handled the following incidents from Jan. 23-31, according to the weekly police blotter:

A felony theft of prescription medication, firearms, and coins was reported on the 8500 block of Palmetto Drive.

Credit cards, a wallet, and knife were reported stolen on the 9000 block of Lemona Drive.Â
Jan. 25
Electronics, gift cards, a purse, sunglasses, and keys were reported stolen from the 5400 block of Southfield Center. Police valued the items at more than $500, according to the report.Â
Jan. 26
A theft involving payroll checks of more than $500 was reported on the 4900 block of Seibert Avenue.
A dog was taken from the 4700 block of Brunston Drive.Â
Jan. 27
A computer valued at more than $500 was taken from the 9800 block of Charwick Drive.
An assault with a vehicle was reported on the 8100 block of Hidesheim. The victims were struck with the vehicle, according to the report.Â
Jan. 29
A blue 1992 Buick Century was reported stolen from the 9500 block of Dana Avenue.Â
Jan. 30
A maroon 1993 Oldsmobile Sierra was taken from the 9600 block of Flagler Drive. Police were able to recover the vehicle.
A firearm and credit and debit cards were reported stolen from the 11100 block of South Towne Square.Â
Jan. 31
A laptop and keys valued at more than $500 was taken from the 9500 block of Lindsley Court.
A resident was robbed of their purse and black 2006 Mazda on the 9100 block of Dana Avenue. The items were recovered. The suspect displayed a firearm, according to the report.
