Extra Police Patrols Added After Vehicle Break-ins at Shrewsbury Aquatic Center
The two vehicle break-ins happened on the afternoon of June 10, the Shrewbury Police Department reported.

No leads have been identified in the recent theft of two purses and a wallet from vehicles parked at the .
The thefts occurred between 1:50 p.m. and 4 p.m. June 10 and involved two vehicles parked side by side, the said.
A wallet and a purse containing credit cards, cash and personal items were stolen from the first vehicle, which had a shattered passenger window. A purse and its contents were stolen from a neighboring van, though there were no signs of forced entry.
A witness later reported seeing three people in an older white vehicle near the victims' vehicles. The witness said one of the three walked to the back of one of the vehicles and got back into the older white vehicle, which then drove east on Melbourne Avenue.
Extra patrols are being conducted in the area, and the case remains under investigation, Lt. Brian Catlett said.
