Syberg's Expansion Roadblocked by County?

Syberg’s would like to expand and enhance its restaurant on Gravois Road, but it appears that St. Louis County is standing in the way.

Recently members of Syberg’s management met with members of the Affton Community Involvement Association (ACIA) to express their frustration. The ACIA then sent a letter to St. Louis County District 6 Councilman Steve Stenger, saying there is "a great deal of frustration over what appears to be continued roadblocking from Saint Louis County Government to plans they have to both expand and enhance their long-established business in Affton."

The letter encouraged Stenger him to intervene and possibly help Syberg’s plans along.

The ACIA said there was “an air of excitement” about the announcement to expand, which “gradually faded as it became apparent any forward momentum on their plans ground to a halt.”
